DigiTierra aims to make outdoor technology easier to evaluate without hiding uncertainty or tradeoffs.

Research standards

We prioritize current manufacturer documentation, recognized safety guidance, technical standards, and direct calculations. We identify estimates as estimates and do not present desk research as hands-on testing.

Recommendations

A product must fit a defined use case, not merely have impressive specifications. We consider compatibility, usable performance, reliability, weight, repairability, warranty, and total cost. Products are not included solely because they offer a commission.

Corrections and updates
